Frequently Asked Questions

We get a few questions and we’re sure you might have some. Here are some of the most common questions that should help you out.

Yes! You can bring your own food, drinks, beer, snacks, water, etc. with you on the bus. Glass containers are not permitted. Please be mindful of spills to avoid cleaning charges. Beers can be quite sticky! Many breweries will have food and/or food trucks available on site. Alcohol enjoyed on the bus must stay on the bus. Williamsburg Brew Bus does not provide alcohol. We do have waters onboard.

While most of the breweries we visit are actually very family friendly, due to the nature of the environment we require all guests on the Williamsburg Brew Bus to be 21 or older on the day of your event. We check IDs during check-in!

You should arrive at the pickup point at least 15 minutes prior to your departure time (the time printed on your ticket – for example, if you have a 2:00 PM time, you should arrive around 1:45 PM). Please have your ID and ticket out and ready for the driver/guide. Your ticket will be scanned and your ID will be checked. You’ll be given a colored wristband. Keep this wristband on as this is how we’ll find you if we need to. You can board the bus and pick a seat. We’ll be off shortly!

You will get approximately 50-60 minutes at each brewery. Plan restroom breaks and meals accordingly!

For the most part, yes. We work closely with our brewery partners to get a list of all events and food truck menus. These will generally be posted in the bus. Weather and unforeseen circumstances might change food truck availability.

You should bring enough cash or a credit card to pay for drinks and food as this cost is on your own. A watch or charged cell phone to keep an eye on the time so you’re not left behind! Driver gratuity is always appreciated, but never expected. You should also plan for the weather and bring anything appropriate such as hats, sunglasses, sunscreen, sweaters, umbrellas, etc. You can bring a small personal cooler that can fit under the seat if you want to purchase and consume any cold beverages. Yuo should also bring your ID with you as the breweries reserve the right to card you. Don’t forget the good vibes!

Please leave pets (except support animals), children under the age of 21, weapons of any kind, cigarettes (including vapes), bad attitudes , hard liquors, glass containers, messy foods, at home or in your car.

Trip extensions are only permitted on private trips and at the discretion of the driver. Your driver will be able to collect additional payment, via credit card, in advance. Due to distance and traffic, you may be required to pay for two or more additional hours.

Our bus can hold approximately 18 passengers (2 per seat, last row of seats 1 per seat). We do not permit standees.

Private events can start where ever is convenient for you – your office, house or apartment, your hotel, etc. Public events will always pick up at the location specified on your ticket, unless notified otherwise.

Yes! Please visit the bus rental page on the Oh My Transport site to request a no obligation quote. We do wedding transportation, batchelor(ette) parties, event shuttles, business transportation, day trips for friend groups and families, unique photography sessions, and more!

Maybe that 7.5% IPA and the food truck didn’t mix well in your tummy. If our driver can safely stop, it’s better to vomit on the side of the road than in the bus. However, if you do vomit in the bus, you (or your group if on a private event) will be charged a $200 cleaning fee.

Absolutely! We have water for you on the bus and you can bring your own snacks. Most of the breweries we go to sell sodas, non-alcoholic beers, root beer, juice, and other light refreshments. Most breweries also have food trucks on site and other activities for non-drinkers. You will still have a blast!

For private events, it can be 1 through 18 as you pay for the entire bus regardless of the number of people in your group. For public events, we need at least 4 people.

If less than 4 people have paid for an event, we will notify you as soon as possible. This may be as late as 2 hours before your scheduled event. If this happens, we will give you the option to reschedule for another event, fully refund your ticket, or refund your ticket to a gift card that can be used on a future event.

Yes, if you have a gift card balance, you can apply that balance to a private event or ticket for a public event. Gift card balances do not expire.

You only need 1! Private tours book out the entire bus so it doesn’t matter if you bring yourself, your best friend, or 17 of your closest friends!
